We had some leftover money from last year’s Trash for Turtles project after we purchased game cameras for the Sapelo Island’s sea turtle program. So, I decided to do something cool with it. On Saint Simons Island, there is a group called the Saint Simons Island Sea Turtle Project. They educate the community about sea turtles and things that people can do to help them. I donated the rest of the money to them, so they could purchase posters and other supplies they need in order to educate the community. I met with Mrs. Catherine Ridley and other volunteers to give them the money. We talked about different projects in the future and lots more. Thank you to Mrs. Catherine Ridlley and the Saint Simons Island Sea Turtle Project for all you do to help sea turtles. Also, thank you to everyone that helped and supported us last year.
