$25 for 2025 All Done: Final Project Complete!

My final senior fundraiser has officially come to a close. The $25 for 2025 project was my final project to support the Satilla Riverkeeper water monitoring program. My goal for this project was to raise $625 through $25 donations.

I am proud to announce that it was an astounding success! We topped this goal by raising $750 dollars to purchase new equipment. Thanks to our generous donors, they can purchase equipment to get more reliable and consistent water quality data. In this way, we can ensure our rivers are healthy for both the ecosystem and the public. For example, by testing the dissolved oxygen and conductivity, we can detect if pollution is happening. More reliable data also gives us a more accurate depiction of how our ecosystems function, and why certain plants and animals live in specific habitats.

I am so thankful to be able to give back to the Satilla Riverkeeper. I have helped with organized clean-ups since the very beginning of my Trash-for-Turtles project, and I am now involved in the water monitoring program. This project was a great way to see all of my activism come full circle, and it brings some finality to the competition of my fundraising.

I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who has supported my countless projects over the years. It would not have been possible to accomplish so many amazing things without your help. A special thank you to these people who donated to my final project:
