The Litter Song

This month, I spoke to lots of local kids – about 150 in all! – about picking up litter. But you know what made it extra fun? A song! Today, we are going to teach you this song called “The Litter Song.” It is sung to the tune of “She’ll Be Coming Around the Mountain.”

Here are the lyrics, but you can always have fun and make up your own rhyming verse!

Verse 1

If you see a piece of litter, pick it up! (Pick it up!)

You will make the world look better if you pick up all the litter.
