Trash for Turtles Read-a-thon #2: Books 2-4
As a part of my 2021 Trash for Turtles project, I am doing a read-a-thon to raise money for the Caretta Research Project on Wassaw National Wildlife Refuge. Each page can be sponsored here and as you do this you will be entered into a drawing for a free t-shirt or bracelet and the opportunity to donate these books to a local library of your choosing.
This month’s theme is young children’s literature, for grades preschool to 3rd grade. This will include three books: 10 Reasons to Love a Turtle by Catherine Barr, Follow the Moon Home by Philippe Cousteau, and Where Should Turtle Be? by Susan Ring. These cute picture books are shorter, so for this read-a-thon, I am looking for two sponsors per page. All together these books have 104 pages, so I am currently looking for sponsors to help me reach my $208 goal for this month’s read-a-thon.
Thank you so much for reading and supporting this year’s Trash-for-Turtles!
Check back here to follow our progress: These books have been fully sponsored! Thank you so much to all my sponsors!
How exciting!
