Local Recycling Options
Due to some unforeseen circumstances and high water at boat ramps, I am not doing a clean up this month. To make up for that, I’m going to show you ways to dispose of your used and unwanted items in an environmentally healthy way, through recycling and donating. Here is a list of options available in and around Pierce County, Georgia. If you don’t live nearby, then some of these may not apply to you, but I encourage you to look for places where you can recycle and donate near you.
I am also going to put this list on the top menu bar of my blog site where you can easily find it in the future. If you know of other places that should be added to the list, please let me know!
Aluminum Cans/Scrap Metal
- Barber Recycling, 360 Friendship Church Rd, Alma
- Waycross Recycling, 857 Garlington Ave, Waycross
I will also take your aluminum cans and recycle them for money to support Georgia’s marine conservation efforts. Just contact me to arrange for pick up or drop off!
