2019 Year in Review
This past year has been a blast, but what were my favorite moments of 2019? Here they are for you folks, 19 of my favorite Earth Inspired Kids moments!
19) Happy New Year, 2019! Clean up on Driftwood Beach, Jekyll Island.
18) Baby sea turtles on our Trash for Turtles game cameras
17) Participating in the NOAA Marine Debri Art Contest
16) A big milestone: 50th clean-up!
15) Starting Keep Pierce County Clean with my friend, Isabella
14) Earth Day Craft
13) Working with other groups like the Friends of the Satilla with their 121 Boat Ramp Clean-up
12) My long-time friend coming out to help me with Mahi Sweep #4
11) Reading my book to young kids in my area (one group even sang my litter song!)
10) Jamestown Landing annual Rivers Alive clean up
9) The big impact we made with Mahi Sweep Clean-up #6 where we picked up 100 lbs of trash directly out of the river
8) Dr. Franks’ shark presentation for my school’s Jr. BETA Club
7) My first Trash Fishing Competition (The toy car was awesome!)
6) Being inspired by other kids like Greta Thunberg to make a difference
5) Three Little Turtles and the Big Bold Shark video my sister and I made
3) Being a panelist at the One Hundred Miles Choosing to Lead Conference
2) Hands-on learning with OCEARCH’s Northwest Atlantic Shared Foraging Area (NASFA) expedition
