It is important to educate young kids about the importance of keeping our environment clean. I had the opportunity to do just that this month. I went to two preK classes and talked about “Mahi,” the injured green sea turtle that inspired me to start my Trash for Turtles project, plus easy ways to help the environment at a young age and what I have done to help our environment. It is so cool to see such young kids so inspired. At one school, the class even sang the litter song! If you want to learn the litter song, check out my Litter Song blog post!
